Seaman's chest
I found this online. The gentleman I got it from said he's had it for forty years
I believe him
has original hardware on it
Has hand forged nails and handles on it
It's 33 inches wide (83 cm)
17inches tall (43 cm)
17.5 inches deep (44.5 cm)
original custom painting
I sanded inside and out,
3 coats of varnish before I painted it Then 2 more coats after
I painted the top.
Date on the inside
I found this date on the inside of it...
